Simple Creation Lesson

Stop, look…..

                     out your front door.

We just got back from a vacation in Southwest Florida and God reminded me over and over how incredible His creation is…and that I so often take it for granted.

Maybe it is my age..but things look brighter, I see more details, creation indeed sings His praises.

What a great “kid” activity!
1.) Have your children go outside with a camera…a disposable one works great.

Simple Carpenters and Blueprints

Simple Carpenters and Blueprints….

Although I do question the actual “simplicity” of either a carpenter or a blueprint….I am by no means an expert, not even close. I am simply amazed at what carpenters can do. They can build things that I can only imagine. Sometimes they use a blueprint, sometimes nothing but their vivid imagination and a plan sketched out in their head!

My boys always loved to build with Legos. In fact, one enjoys creating with wood to this day. And another can build websites and designs. I am amazed when they send me pictures of window benches, work cabinets, web site and other such things. Continue reading Simple Carpenters and Blueprints

Homeschool VS. Public School!!

Homeschool Vs. Public School

Usually when VS.
appears between two subjects
there is a fight
or debate underway!

I must sound like an actual living, breathing oxymoron. One day I write about the public schools and the virtue of teaching. The next day I write about the virtues of homeschooling. Someone is going to be mad at me for something.  Oh well…..I speak from the heart!
