Simple Truths in Everyday!

Sometimes I complicate things.  I am a type A personality, and I like things in order.  God reminds me of “simple truths” a lot.  He often speaks to our hearts in the every day!

Once a teacher, always a teacher…my brain thinks like a teacher and probably always will.  I read something in a magazine or the paper and I automatically look for the correct spelling and grammar. Don’t judge…but I cannot abbreviate on text messages.  Yes, I am the one that does this: *light when I have accidentally texted….”lite”.   I won’t even mention spellcheck. I often complicate things! Warm and Safe

I really like to read.

I remember devouring books as a little girl and on through adulthood. I was never one of those people who didn’t read for fun just because I had to read so much in college. In fact, as a little girl, I actually remember getting excited when we got new cereal because I knew that I would have something new to read on the back of the box when we ate breakfast. Again~Oscar and the Reminder

I am in the craft room working…low and behold…there Oscar is…again…on the same day as last year.  I think the message deserves a repeat post.  The Father used my dog again.

Oscar and The Reminder

Our furry baby is a West Highland Terrier named Oscar.

We are “empty nesters” and he has moved into our hearts and taken it, throwing away that silly key!  He drives us crazy (‘tenacious terriers” is not an understatement). But we cannot imagine life without him. We lost our other Westie, Bubba almost six years ago and we were never having another animal because his death hurt so much.

Right…….Our animals can teach us a lot.

Oscar brought something to my attention again.  I have seen it before, and most likely written about it..but it really confirmed the importance of the lesson to me again. Continue reading
