Simple Creation Lesson

Stop, look…..

                     out your front door.

We just got back from a vacation in Southwest Florida and God reminded me over and over how incredible His creation is…and that I so often take it for granted.

Maybe it is my age..but things look brighter, I see more details, creation indeed sings His praises.

What a great “kid” activity!
1.) Have your children go outside with a camera…a disposable one works great.

2.) Encourage them to take pictures of natural things..things they might see everyday.
3.) Once developed or put on a computer screen…have them describe what they see.
4.) This can be an oral activity as well as a written one..what a great way to use adjectives!
5.) Ask your children what they might have named this created object if they had been given he job by God, like Adam and why would you have named it that?
6.) So many things can be done with this activity! Creative Writing, Spelling, Biology, Math..etc.

Children learn so much from hands on activities. It isn’t work, it is fun! And what a better way to talk about God’s creation and His incredible handiwork!

Genesis 1

Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Exodus 20

Enjoy and don’t just “look” but really “see.”

Be blessed
In Christ Alone

I love Jesus. If I say nothing else, that is enough. But for those curiosity seekers, I am a 56 year old former special education teacher, current part time CCM Radio Announcer who is married to her high school sweetheart. We have been together for 40 years, married 37 of those years! We have raised two sons, who are now married, have jobs and mortgages. We have our furry son, a West Highland Terrier. It wasn't always easy, and I like sharing some insights from those "mommy" and "teaching" years. I also want to encourage people in their daily life. I believe that the Father speaks to us all the time, sometimes I have been too busy to listen. Even during times of trials and troubles, He is ever present. ~Be Encouraged Today~
