It used to just be reading glasses…

Do you like to read? I must say it is one of my favorite past times…even if I fall asleep when I do it before bed.

Then these things started happening…..When I turned 40 my arms simply were not long enough. Then I had to transfer from just reading glasses to the tri focal version. And now at 57, they are the first thing I grab in the morning. In fact…let’s see a show of hands…who has gotten into the shower with them on? Grandma and Gifts

I remember my maternal grandmother with so much love. She was a feisty little lady who lived until she was 94 years old.

I would spend the night with Grandma Fannie and watch “As the World Turns” during the day, and “Lawerence Welk” at night. We would eat pancakes in the morning, and popcorn at night… I think she started my love of reading and writing because she always had several issues of Reader’s Digest to share with me and would ask me questions after I would read them.
