Where Does Our Trust Lie?

Remember the game, LIFE? I am not a game player, but it did capture some of life. I used to get so frustrated. I wanted to win!! That’s why it is not good for me to play games…I become quite competitive!

There are some spaces missing if memory serves me correctly. I don’t recall a cancer space. I don’t remember seeing anything about loss of a spouse, divorce, political unrest or a pandemic space. In fact, there are many spaces missing. Continue reading In Whom? →

Ah, you have finally settled down with a good book. Sunscreen applied, hat tilted just right. The waves are lapping against your chair and the sun is overhead. The book you have been waiting to read all winter.

Abiding Joy! Really?!?!

Abiding Joy? Really?!?

Private worlds are swirling with circumstances that defy explanation. And we can add Covid-19 to the mix .

The world as we know it fills the evening news with disheartening news about the world wide pandemic and the ways in which it is affecting our nation.

We hurt for people we love, and those we don’t even know who are suffering. We are all grieving.

Friends, Jesus tells us that if our joy is IN HIM it is complete!
