The man was worn out. He had started his trip early in the morning. He thought he had the necessary supplies to get through the day. He was certain he had obtained all that he needed for such a hike.
Unfortunately, his thoughts proved him wrong. The car’s gas tank was showing empty. He should have stopped at the last rest area. As the needle fell past empty and the car sputtered, he knew he was in trouble.

There is just something about home, isn’t there? We love vacations, but we love to come home. I would imagine if you live away from your “hometown” that going back to the place in which you grew up provides a tender memory.
As a former special education teacher, I have learned many things from my students who learn in their own special way. One day while sitting in church I was encouraged by a little guy, while not my student…a precious friend.
