Simple Animation

My eldest son is a graphic designer.  When he was a little guy he was quite an animator and cartoonist.  Art has always been in his blood!

He created character after character.  He has several sketch books full of cartoons he created…it amazes me actually.  There was always one problem.  Even though his imagination was always moving at break neck speed, his characters remained still on the paper.  He never saw movement. Simple Apology

“I am……….s….so…..sor…..sorr……sorry!”

Whew! Those three words are sometimes the hardest words I have ever uttered.
Truth?

I use to hate to admit when I was wrong. I was a “woman, hear me roar” kind of gal, and I never liked saying that I was sorry. Ask my husband of almost 35 years.

Simple Responsibility

You started it, you finish it.

Our rule was simple.

You start something, you finish it.

You get out the legos, you put them up when you are finished.  Cereal and milk?  Better not be left on the cabinet.

 One wanted guitar lessons, then after three lessons wanted to be done.  Nope, you started it…you finish it.  “I don’t want to play baseball anymore” in the middle of the season no less.  You started it, you finish it. Continue reading Simple Responsibility
