Simple Remembering and Reality

Sometimes it is easy
to forget
what it was like having two children under the age of three
at the same time.

It is almost as if when we get older we remember only the “good” things. The “good” times, when mothering was wonderful and smiles were everywhere. The house was clean, the boys were listening and you could hear the birds singing in the distance as dinner cooked and life was as it should be….oh wait, that must have been the 25th showing of Lion King!

Simple Sweat Bee

Oh these little critters are upon us now!
While they do irritate me a bit……..
they actually are bees with a purpose!!

These bees literally go for our skin because they are like the salt in our perspiration
and the pollen that
gets lodged in our skin when we are outside sweating!

Simple Carpenters and Blueprints

Simple Carpenters and Blueprints….

Although I do question the actual “simplicity” of either a carpenter or a blueprint….I am by no means an expert, not even close. I am simply amazed at what carpenters can do. They can build things that I can only imagine. Sometimes they use a blueprint, sometimes nothing but their vivid imagination and a plan sketched out in their head!

My boys always loved to build with Legos. In fact, one enjoys creating with wood to this day. And another can build websites and designs. I am amazed when they send me pictures of window benches, work cabinets, web site and other such things. Continue reading Simple Carpenters and Blueprints →
