Simple Sweat Bee

Oh these little critters are upon us now!
While they do irritate me a bit……..
they actually are bees with a purpose!!

These bees literally go for our skin because they are like the salt in our perspiration
and the pollen that
gets lodged in our skin when we are outside sweating!

Go figure.

There are many people who specifically strive to keep these bees alive so that the vegetation and crops in their region show abundant growth. They seem insignificant, they can be irritating, they can sting a little…..
but they serve an important purpose.

Just like me…and you.

Sometimes I think I am insignificant. I know darn well I can be really irritating (ask my hubby) and yes, sometimes I do sting with my words a bit.

But I serve a purpose.
To glorify GOD. And know He loves me.

Oh my….I don’t understand it all. But I know that I am loved and significant. I know this because I live it and His word teaches me this….And it is the peace that passes all understanding.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

So next time you want to swat that irritating sweat bee…think of his significance!!

And encourage your kids to learn more about those creatures that we think are not important!!—added bonus-!!
