Raising My Hands!

The last week has been one of remembrance of sort. Also a week of appreciation. And a week to stand.

A friend of ours passed on to his heavenly home this week, which put us in contact with many of our high school friends.

We all have lost people that are too young. We watch the nightly news and we are frustrated with the world, the nation and all the news seems bad.

It may very well be a “doom and gloom” scenario….but I am tired of living there. It is what it is indeed, and prayer is our obligation and hope for this nation through Jesus Christ. Continue reading Raising My Hands!

Changing Clouds

 

132I am simply mesmerized by storms. You would think I would not be willing to take pictures based on my experience with them.

Tornado, derecho, tropical storm, tropical depression, small hurricane…I think that is all we have experienced, at least at this point of our lives. The joke with my friends is to “stay away from her…she is a storm magnet.” Continue reading Changing Clouds
