About T.W. Allgaier

I love Jesus. If I say nothing else, that is enough. But for those curiosity seekers, I am a 61 year old former special education teacher, current part time CCM Radio Announcer and author... who is married to her high school sweetheart. We have been together for 44 years, married almost 41 of those years! We have raised two sons, who are now married, have jobs and mortgages. AND...we became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl in 2018!! We also have our furry son, a West Highland Terrier. My heart's desire is to encourage people in their daily life. I believe that the Father speaks to us all the time, sometimes I have been too busy to listen. Even during times of trials and troubles, which seem endless right now in 2021, HE is present and loves us unconditionally. Thanks for reading. ~Be Encouraged Today~

Make a Christian Checklist!

Got that checklist out?  Do you want to be a better Christian?

Then this is something you need to read!

I admit it.  I used to be a major list person.  I made lists all the time.  I loved checking things off that list, so much so that I would add things on it that I had done just so I could check them off!!  Can anyone relate? Continue reading Make a Christian Checklist!

Our True Freedom

When did you declare your independence?  We celebrate America’s independence on July 4th, but when do you celebrate yours?  It is rather ironic isn’t it? It is really in our “dependence” on the Father that we are free.  It seems like we are always looking for “freedom” to do what we want, when we want it…and yet, if the hole we have in our spirit is not filled with Christ, our quest will never be over.  We will constantly be looking for that next thing that we think will make us happy….a better spouse, a better job, more money, a bigger house, our children’s lives…our identity has to be in Christ and nothing else or we will be miserable.  I speak from experience.

May you enjoy your day and celebrate your true freedom….that freedom IN CHRIST ALONE.

2 Corinthians 3_17

And Still……

I will be 57 years old in a couple of months. There have been a lot of changes in this body. Some body parts just don’t move like they use to. And this body is little heavier than it once was in spite of my best efforts.

My eyes seem to worsen each time I go to the eye doctor. I quit wearing contacts when I figured out the glasses actually hid the dark circles under my eyes better than any concealer I had ever used. Continue reading And Still……
