Life Badges

 I have missed writing each week as I have missed you!  I truly wonder how I ever worked a full-time, 40+ hour a week job!

We head six hours south every chance we get to see our first grandchild.  She has most certainly captured our hearts.  She is 7 weeks old and time is going faster with her than it did with our own sons. Could it be because it is not day-to-day with her and just cuddling and loving when we see her?   Continue reading Life Badges

And Still……

 

I will be 57 years old in a couple of months. There have been a lot of changes in this body. Some body parts just don’t move like they use to. And this body is little heavier than it once was in spite of my best efforts.

My eyes seem to worsen each time I go to the eye doctor. I quit wearing contacts when I figured out the glasses actually hid the dark circles under my eyes better than any concealer I had ever used. Continue reading And Still……

A couple of weeks prior to hip surgery we got together with two other couples that have been life long friends. We are calling ourselves “vintage” which was a term shared my one of my other friends that is 70.  We love to eat, play games and laugh. We laugh a lot.
