No, I am not writing about making change at a cash register…

although I could write an entire blog on the “inability” of people to actually

make change without the aide of the computer…and then I might be border line “Common Core”

…..so I will save that one!

Simple Freedom

Simple Freedom

I take it for granted.

I think a lot of us do quite frankly.

Have you ever let your kids catch a creek turtle and keep it in an old fish bowl? We did that several times in our home. And each time the boys were convinced that they could keep the turtle in their room and it would remain healthy and happy.

The first experience they had did not prove this statement to be true. It died. I cannot remember its’ name. But it was sad. And it wasn’t the last. Continue reading Simple Freedom

Don’t do it.

I have regrets as a parent…

…and I would change some things that I did…

One regret:  My reaction to….

the  “Momma Bear Syndrome”.

You’ve all been stricken with it at some point or another.
