Death….

…..unfortunately is a part of life.

My sister in law passed away last night in her home surrounded by her adult children and loved ones. She had suffered from that evil disease cancer for too long. She fought the good fight.

But how does one deal with death and young children? How do we teach them that as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we do NOT have to fear death?

Memories..Love Unconditionally

We are currently in the process of transferring our old VCR tapes to DVD. It is a long, tedious process. But VCR tapes are known not to last more than 20 years and some of ours have outlived their lifespan. Or at least I hope they outlive that age until I can play them one more time for recording.

I am using the “Toshiba DVR620 DVD/VHS Recorder” which I found on Amazon. I am sure there are other quality recorders, this is just the one I chose. For me hooking it up to the TV was the hardest part. Continue reading Memories…Love Unconditionally →

After Christmas…

The kids are at home, school is not in session.

The toys are no longer fun….

We’ve all been there. Seems like the boxes and their delight lasted longer. Every year I thought we might should save some of the toys for the winter months. But alas, year after year we bought.
