Knowledge Caught

Could I get a show of hands…who is tired of winter? Just what I figured, 99.9% of us. Those of you in that .1%…bless your heart.

I am amazed by the weather and all the variables that go into it. I blog about it a lot it seems. I guess I could have been a weather person, but I do not like math and science, so it probably wouldn’t have worked.

Our children have many likes and dislikes and interests. As parents, it is up to us to allow them to pursue those interests. We never know how those things might play out in their future. My youngest always liked numbers and loved sports and now he has a career that include both areas. My eldest was always the artist and again, he was fortunate to have a career in design. “Who dropped those crumbs all over the kitchen floor” I said to the boys.  “Not me” said the eldest, “I didn’t do it either” said the youngest.

“Well one of you got crumbs all over my clean kitchen floor” I said in a voice that I was not proud of. “I have cleaned the bathroom and worked so hard on this floor.  Our friends are coming over tonight and I don’t want to have to mop it again!”

Memories…Love Unconditionally

Memories..Love Unconditionally

We are currently in the process of transferring our old VCR tapes to DVD. It is a long, tedious process. But VCR tapes are known not to last more than 20 years and some of ours have outlived their lifespan. Or at least I hope they outlive that age until I can play them one more time for recording.

I am using the “Toshiba DVR620 DVD/VHS Recorder” which I found on Amazon. I am sure there are other quality recorders, this is just the one I chose. For me hooking it up to the TV was the hardest part. Continue reading Memories…Love Unconditionally
