About T.W. Allgaier

I love Jesus. If I say nothing else, that is enough. But for those curiosity seekers, I am a 61 year old former special education teacher, current part time CCM Radio Announcer and author... who is married to her high school sweetheart. We have been together for 44 years, married almost 41 of those years! We have raised two sons, who are now married, have jobs and mortgages. AND...we became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl in 2018!! We also have our furry son, a West Highland Terrier. My heart's desire is to encourage people in their daily life. I believe that the Father speaks to us all the time, sometimes I have been too busy to listen. Even during times of trials and troubles, which seem endless right now in 2021, HE is present and loves us unconditionally. Thanks for reading. ~Be Encouraged Today~

A Snowflake

Ok…here is the deal. I am not a cold weather person. No, I am not a “frigid” weather person. I realize that this freezing cold is good to control all those pests we deal with in the summer. I also know that consistent freezing temperatures may help destroy some of the bugs and viruses traveling around. But, other than it helping me with an occasional hot flash( but that is another post… 🙂 I am not a fan.

So I am scrolling through Facebook one evening and someone just has to post a couple of pictures of the snow that fell. Now, this was not one of those pictures that showed the beautiful landscape, but somehow this friend captured a couple of photos that showed each individual snowflake. Continue reading A Snowflake

Wake Up

It is the day after Christmas. The “sugar hangover” may be a part of this morning, so bring on the coffee.

The tree may still be up, the unwrapped presents are put up or ready for exchange.

Some will have to go back to work, others will be off for a few more days. Some will get on the road to travel, some even to vacation.

But no matter what this day brings….

Even though the actual “holiday” is over…..

God still sent His son as a baby to be born in a manger…so that He could understand what it was like to be human.

This new baby….a life to be lived.

For us…

So that we might have life.

Pretty amazing actually.

I want to remember that….. every. single. morning.
