Some won’t understand this…some might think I am being a bit “over the top”. But I will risk it because I believe it is true and I believe someone who thinks they are “forgettable” might need to hear this.
I really like music. I have always sang and music speaks to my heart in so many ways. My whole life has been full of “music appreciation”. I am even now back at a CCM radio station that I was working at before my renewed teaching career.
But this song isn’t labeled a “Christian” song. In fact, it is a love song. I have heard Nat King Cole sing this song several times and always loved the lyric and the musicality of it. But I will never forget the day I heard it and it was as though I heard it for the very first time.
It was because I could hear my Abba Father saying these words to me. His unconditional love for me finally broke through….I realized that I would never be good enough, pretty enough, courageous enough, strong enough, “Christian” enough, work enough…..well you get the idea.
God, my creator…found me unforgettable.

I love God with all my heart, my soul and my mind. And quite frankly, could not survive living in this world without Him and His love. And He is “Unforgettable” too.
Friends, if we truly grasp how much God loves us….it would change us inside out…and we could not help but show that love to those all around us.

Encouragement for Today 
I love this song too. I have developed a deeper appreciation for the words and lyrics of songs. When I was young, it was the beat or melody. TO be considered Unforgettable is an ultimate consideration. To know that we are God’s creation and each one of us is Unforgettable is more than an awesome testament of His love for His creation. Thanks for sharing this song from a different perspective, just because of the way you did, when I hear or think of this, you and your post will be Unforgettable.
