Children are impressionable. I promise.

I will never forget my love for watching soap operas as a young mom.  I kept them on during the daytime hours. The boys were small and as I changed diapers, gave baths, did laundry, dishes, dusting, lunch, dinner…..I kept the television on. After all, the boys were little and did not pay attention, right?

We’ve all been there. Seems like the boxes and their delight lasted longer. Every year I thought we might should save some of the toys for the winter months. But alas, year after year we bought.

The other day I was shopping and heard the sweetest conversation. Two little brothers were playing “tend like” as they followed their mother around while she pushed her cart down the aisles.
