Unlimited Plan

We are always looking for a deal on our cell phone plans.  An “unlimited plan” is always the goal with a great price.

To obtain the necessary information when you need it with no limits on how much or how often.  To have unlimited access to call or text anyone on your contact list.smartphone-1894723_1280

We already have it.

I am not talking about any of those major cell phone companies, or even the ones that advertise to the “vintage crowd” such as me.

You probably know where I am going with this…God seems to always use the very simple things in life to speak to my heart or confirm what I already know to be true.  He knows that I need that sometimes.

We have “unlimited data” and “unlimited access” to our heavenly Father.  We can talk to Him anytime, night or day.  We are never told how much or how often.  I don’t have to worry about charges, that debt has been paid.

How is that for an “unlimited plan?”

Pretty simple, huh?  Sometimes simple is good.  No complications, no definitions, no arguments…and no customer service reps to have to go through.

There is a song playing right now that has spoken to my heart like none other has in a very long time.  It is pretty simple.  It acknowledges who God is and how we worship HIM.

Here is part of it:

“You are here….Moving in our midst….I worship you…..I worship you

Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness..

My God, that is who you are.” (written by Sinach)

Way Maker sung by Mandisa

So as simple as it seems, the unlimited plan we have with our God is amazing.  Don’t complicate it.

He loves us.  And when we surrender to that love, embrace and believe it….He can love others through us.

It is that simple.

I am going to keep taking advantage of this unlimited plan, how about you?

Curious…290 Views?

I am not sure what to make of this.  A couple of days ago my “readership spiked.”  I mean really spiked.  I went from like 40-50 views per post to 290 one day.  All of the activity was from one country only, and not the USA.

Interesting.  Puzzling.  Hopeful.

Hopeful that whether the posts are copied, read or just looked at someone felt the love of Christ and were encouraged.

Has this ever happened to any of you?question-mark-1495858_1280

Love to Read!

I think that my love of writing comes from my love for reading. I remember as a girl wanting to go to the public library as much as I was allowed to go!

I grew up in the era in which one could ride a bike from one end of town to another without much worry.  So my bicycle seemed to be set on an old fashioned GPS setting of sorts to the incredible building.

When I walked in our beautiful library, I was immediately engulfed in peace. The quiet often soothed my troubled soul.  Ahead of me was an adventure just waiting to happen!  I walked between the aisles of books and breathed in the smell that only a true reader of books would understand.

Adventure, romance, comedy, news, encouragement…..the whole world was afforded to me in this place.  A product of a broken home, which often seemed very broken … this place was my haven, my safe place.

I will forever love the library.  And I will forever love reading.  My preference is a “real’ book.  I know a lot of people like audio books and digital downloaded books, but holding that book in my hands and turning the pages will always be my preferred method. The world awaits!

Alas, as a reader who does not have enough room in her house for ALL the books I want to read, I have succumbed to the pressure of buying a Kindle several years ago.  And now as an author, my books are offered in this format.

No one was forcing me to do this…I was just greedy in my book collection and needed room.  It made sense.  So currently I have over 400+ books downloaded, and that doesn’t include the AMP Bible, two dictionaries and several reference books.

And I have a tendency to read more than one book at a time, so having them all in one place is a bit convenient.

Since I plan to add more to my collection,  I had to share these discoveries!  If you are like me, this has infinite possibilities!
