About T.W. Allgaier

I love Jesus. If I say nothing else, that is enough. But for those curiosity seekers, I am a 61 year old former special education teacher, current part time CCM Radio Announcer and author... who is married to her high school sweetheart. We have been together for 44 years, married almost 41 of those years! We have raised two sons, who are now married, have jobs and mortgages. AND...we became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl in 2018!! We also have our furry son, a West Highland Terrier. My heart's desire is to encourage people in their daily life. I believe that the Father speaks to us all the time, sometimes I have been too busy to listen. Even during times of trials and troubles, which seem endless right now in 2021, HE is present and loves us unconditionally. Thanks for reading. ~Be Encouraged Today~

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday.  I realized that I had not shared about his hobby on my blog before.  He is an artist and is very good, in my humble opinion 😉  His work is at http://www.southernillinoismercantileco.com

He also has a Facebook page you are welcomed to check out and like if you wish…https://www.facebook.com/aaallgaierartwork/

I thought I would share a bit of his work.  I admit I am a bit biased…..but it is a joy watching him do something he loves. He loved to paint and sketch as much as I like to write.

These are just a few of his pieces.  Each piece is signed with:

1 Corinthians 10:31 “So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God.” AMP

So love what you do, and do what you love…..I write, he paints and sketches. We will never be rich and famous….but we will always be content.

Beautifully Wrapped Gift

Have you ever played that game at Christmas when you get to take a gift from someone else in the circle? One of the many gifts that is being passed around is actually not a gag gift, but a gift of value.

I usually choose the one that is wrapped as though it is worth a million dollars. And yes, you guessed it….I unwrap it to find a roll of Christmas toilet paper. So much for the beautifully wrapped gift! Continue reading Beautifully Wrapped Gift
