I am Reminded….

I am at a loss.

I don’t have words of wisdom or advice or any cute little tags.

I have prayed, read and can come up with nothing deep, but do I ever?

The one thing that I keep thinking of over and over……is how much God loves me.

He doesn’t care if I have words. He doesn’t care that I cannot fill up a page today. He just wants to remind me…remind us….that He loves us.

There are many things going on in this world that I have no explanation for…many things I don’t understand. People complicate His love so much. I cannot explain it.

But I can rest assured.

He loves me.

When I don’t understand, when I have questions, when I am confused, when I am perplexed, when I think things aren’t fair, when I wonder why people complicate the gospel, when I am hurting….

He loves me.

There are some days that are just like that. We need the encouragement of His love so we can face the day…face the problem….face life.

He loves you.

One year I did a word study on “love” and wrote out every scripture in the Bible in a notebook. Changed my life.

He loves you.

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5

Romans 8:37-39 – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I needed to be reminded of that today….maybe you did too.
