In this World…

Stress upon stress.

Hearts are broken.

Lives are shattered.

In this world we will have trouble.(John 16:33)

Where does our hope lie?

Where do we turn to stop the pain?

How can we stop the emotional roller coaster?

We can’t trust our feelings.

We can’t trust the circumstances that keep swirling around us.

Our HOPE only lies in CHRIST JESUS.

Nothing more, nothing less.

But the pain won’t go away.

The consequences of the choices made are still with us.

But…

The ETERNAL HOPE we have in the LOVE of Christ remains.(Titus 1:2)

HE will never leave, HE will never walk away.

HE will never turn His back on you.

“We wait [expectantly] for the Lord;

He is our help and our shield.

For in Him our heart rejoices,

Because we trust [lean on, rely on, and are confident] in His holy name.

Let Your [steadfast] lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us,

In proportion as we have [a]hoped in You.” Psalm 33:20-22 AMP

HIS LOVE endures forever.(Psalm 136)

Escape into HIS word, HIS love, His provision…

for there is none other.

1 John 5:13-14, 1Peter 1:3-6,

Eph.2:8-10, 2 Cor. 4:16-18, John 4:13-14…..just to name a few, a very few.

Breathing (Guest Post from my dear friend, Laura Miles)

This is a guest post from my dear friend, Laura Miles.  Thanks for allowing me to post your meaningful words.

I’ve been focusing on breathing lately. We don’t normally see our breath. It’s something that just happens without even thinking about it. In the cold months, we actually get to see it. We are made aware of it in a different way. We actually see what comes out of our mouths because circumstances have changed around us. What was once warm, comfortable air has become cold and biting. We haven’t changed, the circumstances that we live in has. What if we could see our words that come out of our mouth? What if the visual effect were there? What if those words, that breath, were thought about and noticed? What if you could see what circumstances did to our words? What if that cold, biting circumstance made us aware of those words? What if no matter what the circumstances are, the words/breath were carefully considered? Life makes it where you can barely take a breath sometimes…BUT if we focus on the breath that we have and the words that we speak, life can be easier to handle. It can be easier on us and the ones around us. Life is hard. Life is good. Life is fleeting. Life can change in a breath.adult-beautiful-beauty-321576
