I thought I could paint and sketch….until I met my husband 40 years ago. He has been retired for five years(UPS) and keeps very busy. I am not sure retired UPS drivers know how to be still. He has loved painting and sketching since he was a little boy. An empty nest and retirement have allowed him to work with the artistic talent/gift that the Father has given him. I actually have some of his work in a retail store now(only took me 37 years to convince him)!
The wonderful news is that we are all talented in something. I truly believe that with all my heart. You may not know what that talent is right now. What do you love to do? What do you do well? When do you feel like you are doing the very thing you were created to do? Try and take some time and enjoy the talent you have been given…who knows what lies right underneath the surface?
Now excuse me while I go draw a stick figure!

Oh my! You’re right, he’s so talented and what a pleasure it was viewing all these beautiful paintings. The colors, details are amazing. I kept strolling through trying to figure out which was my favorite. Especially like the details in all the animal ones and the sunset grille but all are fantastic! Well done Hubs, 🙂
