I had another post scheduled for today. But with all that is going on in our world right now and with the heaviness of my heart, it has changed.
I have dear friends in the path of Hurricane Matthew, and know several ministries in Haiti that cannot get in contact with their people there…the devastation I am sure is catastrophic! As it may be for millions of others before “Matthew” leaves….
So please join with me in prayer for those affected and may the love of God surround and comfort them in their time of need.
We have been the victims of devastating storms and I know first hand that without the love, peace and grace the Father provided during these times we would have not made it.
If any of you are in the path..you have my prayers as well.
I love Jesus. If I say nothing else, that is enough. But for those curiosity seekers, I am a 60 year old former special education teacher, current part time CCM Radio Announcer and author... who is married to her high school sweetheart. We have been together for 44 years, married almost 41 of those years! We have raised two sons, who are now married, have jobs and mortgages. AND...we became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl in 2018!! We also have our furry son, a West Highland Terrier.
My heart's desire is to encourage people in their daily life. I believe that the Father speaks to us all the time, sometimes I have been too busy to listen. Even during times of trials and troubles, which seem endless right now in 2020, HE is present and loves us unconditionally. Thanks for reading.
~Be Encouraged Today~
Our Father who art in Heaven and Your One and Only Son Jesus ( Yeshua ) Christ, Please Help those in this matter, I Know You Control the Weather / Universe and the Earth from Heaven Above, Please Guide Nations Back too You again Jesus ( Yeshua ) Christ, In Jesus ( Yeshua ) Christ’s Name Amen!!
God Bless All my Sisters and Brothers in Christ Jesus ( Yeshua ) and Your Families and Friends!!
You definitely have our prayers! Having a home in Myrtle Beach that survived Hurricane Hugo as well as two others, one expected direct hit of 155 mile hr. winds – category 5, in the 90s at the last minute it diverted into Wilmington, praise God. (My husband was ordered to stay because he was responsible for the golf course, go figure.)
Although it was awesome to see the power of nature I praise God that we put our Faith in God’s Power to protect us. Blessings and prayers for all those who are going to endure the frustration and financial heartache of this trial. I pray others will anchor themselves to God’s Word for safety.
Thankfully my personal friends faired relatively well, but I know others did not. Haiti suffered so much….we must anchor ourselves to God’s word for safety, grace, peace and all things. Thank you so much for your comments, I value them so much Ellie.
