Last Saturday we began our walk as usual. We have lived in this home for 30 years. We have raccoons, groundhogs, skunks, tons of birds, owls and we have even seen a deer or two. But we have never seen this….and this scripture immediately came to mind. Amplified Bible version….

It is easy to “romanticize” motherhood when you get older and the kids are grown and gone. It is easy to remember all the “good” times and pretend like you really had it altogether…all the time.
