First Born’s Birthday!

This young man made me a mother for the first time 29 years ago!  We have been so fortunate to watch him grow into the man God designed him to be.  We learned how to “parent” on him!  They really do grow up, they really do.

Garbage In

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.”

Children are impressionable. I promise.

I will never forget my love for watching soap operas as a young mom.  I kept them on during the daytime hours. The boys were small and as I changed diapers, gave baths, did laundry, dishes, dusting, lunch, dinner…..I kept the television on. After all, the boys were little and did not pay attention, right?
